PRD FIREBALL 125cc ENGINE

The PRD FIREBALL engine incorporates all the successful traditions of karting but with a few added extra’s. PRD’s electric start and centrifugal clutch system is fast becoming the most convenient and easiest way to go karting.

The convenient and simplicity of the push button start system has helped redefine safety on and off the track. Pit crews are no longer needed to assist drivers starting on the out grid. The electric start clutch system also allows drivers to get out of the way and continue racing after a spin or incident.

The PRD engine and all its components have been designed for longevity of life. The pistons taper and material content is designed to allow the engine to perform at its peek for 7-10 race meetings. The engines are also fitted with a 2 piece, forged induction, and fully machined hardened crank. The engine is also fitted with a steel forged and machined conrod. PRD’s clutch system has been designed to engage at 4500 RPM and stay engaged until the kart comes to a stop. This gives the clutch a long life with minimal maintenance.

PRD’s spare parts prices in main are considerably cheaper than any European engine manufacture.
